Summerjack has emerged from the underground of their hometown of Boise, ID and established themselves as one of the most credible and durable punk rock bands in independent music. Summerjack has since relocated to Orange County, California. The band is comprised of singer/guitarist Gene Piccotti, Bassist Eric Johnson, and drummer Mike Spazbo. Producer Steve Fulton (Built To Spill) captured Summerjack’s adrenaline based anthems on their full length “Three Chords and the Truth”. The band’s unmistakable and powerful sound has earned them a solid base with both fans and press alike. Over the course of the past five years, Summerjack has toured relentlessly, and made themselves known as the soundtrack to the action sports lifestyle.
ESPN and Fox networks and feature Summerjack’s music in numerous television programs that showcase action-sports such as surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, motocross and BMX.
NBC also featured the music of Summerjack on several of their nationally televised airings of the Vans Triple Crown of Skateboarding, Snowboarding, BMX and Surfing contests.
FOX’s action sports television show “54321” frequently uses Summerjack’s music during episodes.
The Pro Surfing Tour of America currently airs the music of Summerjack as the theme music for their televised series of surf contests.
Summerjack takes pride in being a touring band. Doing countless tours across the United States over the years has built a core audience for the band in many different locations.
Summerjack won the Ernie Ball & Music Man Guitar Co.’s “battle of the bands” two years straight.
This punk trio played the Vans Warped Tour in addition to being the opening act for bands such as: AFI, The Vandals, L7, Good Riddance, Guttermouth, Lagwagon, etc. etc. etc.
